Hands-on cyber security tabletop exercise where you will solve a simulated cyber incident as a team. No technical experience needed. Learn how cyber incidents are handled in real workplaces and build employability skills.

Activity
Curious about cyber security and how organisations respond when things go wrong online? Step into the shoes of a cyber detective in this interactive ‘Who-Dunnit-style cyber security hands on exercise. Build practical skills. In this hands-on tabletop activity, you will work in small teams to investigate a simulated cyber incident. You will analyse clues, discuss evidence, make decisions, and piece together what happened, why it happened, and who was responsible. Focussing on incidence investigation, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and understanding cyber risk.

Timing

  • Arrival, Registration, Networking, Drinks and Nibbles: 5:30-6:00pm
  • Tabletop Exercise: 6:00–7:00pm
  • Networking, Drinks and Nibbles: 6:30-7:30pm
