Curious about Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges but not sure where to start? Facilitated by Margeaux Prince and Paula Sillars, this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop is designed to help you build confidence and learn the fundamentals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Participants will be guided through the basics of CTF challenges, including how they work, the tools involved, and practical techniques to get started. Throughout the day, Margeaux and Paula will work through a series of challenges together with you, with step-by-step walkthroughs, opportunities to practise independently, and support available when you need it.

This is a low-pressure, collaborative session focused on learning, sharing knowledge, and building confidence. Whether you are completely new or have some experience, you are welcome to join and be part of a supportive cyber security community.
