Retirement of two Board members

Following our recent AWSN AGM, two of our board members, Lukasz Gogolkiewicz and Jacqui Loustau will be retiring from the AWSN board.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Lukasz and Jacqui for their service and dedication throughout their board tenure. Your strategic insights, leadership, and commitment have significantly contributed to the advancement and success of AWSN. Your presence on the Board will be missed, and we wish you continued fulfillment and success in your future endeavours.

As AWSN enters its next phase of development, the Board will shift its focus towards strategic objectives aimed at achieving greater impact, sustainable growth and long-term organisational resilience.

Jacqui Loustau’s title will transition to ‘Founder and CEO’ reflecting her continued leadership and active involvement in AWSN’s operational activities. She will continue to engage with the Board through her participation in meetings in her capacity as Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

New elected Board members

We would also like to welcome two new elected Board directors, Tristan Richards and Joe Saunders.

Tristan Richards

Dr Tristan Richards has over 30 years of experience, skills and achievements in the domains of science, innovation, technology with a focus digital and cyber workforce capability development, diversity and inclusion. Tristan’s leadership, networks and sense of purpose is demonstrated in her current role with the Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Digital Strategy and Services (DSS) where she is developing and implementing a whole of government strategy and action plan aimed at empowering the digital workforce to make informed decisions on workforce planning, capability development, career pathways and talent pipelines.

Joe Saunders

Joe Saunders is an award-winning security and risk management professional with experience consulting and leading in a multitude of sectors including government, healthcare, passenger transport, aviation, education, NFP, and critical infrastructure. Specialising in behavioural risk and the prevention of workplace violence, Joe is committed to protecting people, processes, and assets against the myriads of threats they face, ensuring a secure and resilient organisational environment.
