Cyber5050 - Building Women's Careers

Led by CyberCX, Cyber5050 is a collaborative partnership between Future Women, the Australian Women in Security Network, the Australian Services Union, and the Canberra Institute of Technology. The partnership aims to promote gender equality and remove barriers to women’s participation in the cyber security industry.

The initiatives include - Industry surveys, Cyber Fundamentals microcredential, Cyber Accelerator for Women, Change Makers program, job opportunities and TAFE education pathway.

The following programs are now open for applications:

Cyber Fundamentals microcredential: Foundational cyber security training delivered by the CyberCX Academy. Spots are available to 300 women and gender diverse individuals across Australia.

Cyber Accelerator for Women: 12-month, self-paced online program that helps women and gender diverse people build confidence, leadership, and communication skills. Run by Future Women. Spots are available to 300 women and gender diverse people who complete the Cyber Fundamentals Microcredential.

Change Makers program: Fairness and inclusion training for cyber professionals. Run by Future Women. Spots are available to 300 men.
