Jason Qoriniyasi (aka “JQ”) is the Director of Member and Community Empowerment at CISO Lens. By helping us ensure that our members are supported both as people and security leaders in their organisations, Jason is enabling CISO Lens to expand our contribution to the wider community, Australia, and New Zealand.
Before joining CISO Lens in 2024, Jason was in charge of the Technology and Security function at Angle Finance. During his three years there was responsible for the transformation and operations of Angle’s modern workplace, cloud environments, and cyber capabilities.
Jason has over twenty years’ experience in the cybersecurity and financial services industry, and has a reputation for building high-performing teams and transforming technology to enable business growth.
Jason’s professional background is at the intersection of leadership, technology, and security, with roles ranging from CTO to Head of Architecture, to Principal Architect, to Head of Information Security. Jason brings to CISO Lens additional depth in people leadership, cultural change, technology and cyber capability transformation.
Jason’s passion is working with individuals to navigate their career paths and working with communities to raise awareness and provide expertise.
Jason holds a bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, is SABSA Foundation certified, and is a graduate of the GE Leadership program.
