Cara has over 20 years of experience in forensic mental health nursing, where she developed a strong foundation in risk assessment, behaviour, and decision-making in complex environments. She later transitioned into cybersecurity, applying these attributes while building her technical and operational capability. Now working as a Team Lead in security operations, Cara is focused on supporting her team, continuing her own learning, and contributing to a more inclusive and collaborative security community.
